Tom Picton

Sir Thomas Picton (1758–1815) was a Welsh British Army officer who became one of Wellington’s most prominent divisional commanders during the Peninsular War. He was killed at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 while leading the 5th Infantry Division.[1][3][6]
