Tom Gilb
Tom Gilb (born 1940) is an American systems engineer, consultant, and author known for developing software metrics, software inspection, and evolutionary processes. He is recognized as a founder of several technical disciplines including software metrics and evolutionary project management, and invented Planguage, a formal planning language. His work on incremental development cycles directly influenced Agile and Extreme Programming methodologies.
