Timon Rabczuk

Timon Rabczuk is a Professor of Computational Mechanics at Bauhaus University Weimar in Germany, where he has held a chaired professorship since 2009. He received his Dr.-Ing. (equivalent to a PhD) from the University of Karlsruhe (now KIT) and conducted postdoctoral research at Northwestern University and the Technical University of Munich. His work focuses on computational solid mechanics, multiscale methods, and simulation-based engineering for material design and fracture analysis.
