Tim McNulty

Tim McNulty (b. 1949) is an award-winning poet, essayist, nature writer, and conservation activist who grew up in Connecticut's Quinnipiac River Valley and settled on Washington's Olympic Peninsula in 1972. Inspired by poet Denise Levertov, he has authored ten poetry books and twelve natural history books, including Olympic National Park: A Natural History and Salmon, Cedar, Rock & Rain. He has received the Washington State Book Award and National Outdoor Book Award, and remains active in the Northwest environmental community.
