Tibor Fischer
Tibor Fischer is a British novelist and short-story writer born in Stockport, England, in 1959 to Hungarian parents who left Hungary after the 1956 uprising. He studied at Cambridge University, worked as a journalist, and is best known for his debut novel *Under the Frog*, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and won the Betty Trask Award.
