Tiberius Cavallo

Tiberius Cavallo was an Italian physicist and natural philosopher born in Naples who settled in England in 1771. He became a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1779 and published numerous influential works on electricity, magnetism, gases, and medical electricity, including his most important work, A Complete Treatise on Electricity in Theory and Practice (1777). He was also known for inventing ingenious scientific instruments and apparatus for electrical and chemical experiments.
