Thomas Sinclair

Thomas Sinclair (1838–1914) was an Irish merchant, shipowner, and prominent Unionist politician from Belfast. He expanded his family's provisions business through mergers and key American connections, and led opposition to Irish home rule by chairing the Ulster Liberal Unionist Association and drafting the Ulster Covenant.
