Thomas Paine

Thomas Paine was an English-American political writer and pamphleteer whose 1776 pamphlet Common Sense became one of the most influential texts of the American Revolution. He also wrote The American Crisis, Rights of Man, and The Age of Reason, and his work helped shape arguments for independence, republicanism, and religious skepticism.
