Thomas Middleton

Thomas Middleton was an English Jacobean playwright and poet, born in London in 1580 and known for his sharp, satirical writing across comedy, tragedy, and tragicomedy. He was one of the most prolific dramatists of the period and is especially remembered for works such as "A Chaste Maid in Cheapside," "Women Beware Women," and "The Changeling."
