Thomas Lux
Thomas Lux (1946–2017) was an acclaimed American poet known for his concise, ironic, and neo-surrealist style that captured the absurdities and sorrows of human existence. He held the Bourne Professor of Poetry chair at the Georgia Institute of Technology and published fourteen books of poetry, including notable works like 'Memory’s Handgrenade' and 'To the Left of Time'. Lux died of lung cancer in Atlanta at age 70.
