Thomas Locker

Thomas Locker (1937–2012) was an American landscape painter, award-winning illustrator, and author of children's literature, whose oil paintings followed the tradition of the 19th-century Hudson River School. Over a nearly 60-year career, he held more than 75 solo exhibitions and illustrated around 30 books, several of which he also wrote, celebrating the beauty of nature and its connection to the human spirit. Born in New York City and raised in Washington D.C., he dedicated his life to painting and nature.[1][2][3]
