Thomas Hooker

Thomas Hooker (1586–1647) was an English Puritan minister, theologian, and colonial leader known as the “Father of Connecticut.” He helped found the Connecticut Colony and was influential in early New England politics, especially through his support for broader voting rights and representative government.
