Thomas Hoobler

Thomas Hoobler (1942–2025) was an American author and historian who, alongside his wife Dorothy Hoobler, co-authored over 100 books spanning young adult biographies, mystery novels, and historical nonfiction. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame and attended the Iowa Writers' Workshop before passing away from a stroke in Manhattan at age 82.
