Thomas H Ogden

Thomas H. Ogden, MD, is a distinguished psychoanalyst, author, and creative writing teacher based in San Francisco and Sonoma, California. He has published three novels including The Parts Left Out, The Hands of Gravity and Chance, and This Will Do, alongside fourteen books on psychoanalytic theory and practice, and literary criticism on writers such as Frost, Borges, and Kafka. Ogden has received prestigious awards including the 2012 Sigourney Award and the 2010 Haskell Norman Prize, with his work translated into over twenty languages.
