Thomas Cook
Thomas H. Cook is an accomplished American author born on September 19, 1947, in Fort Payne, Alabama, known for his contributions to psychological thrillers and police procedurals. His 1996 novel The Chatham School Affair won the Edgar Award for Best Novel, and he has been nominated for the Edgar Award eight times across five different categories. Cook is the author of over thirty books of both fiction and non-fiction, including works of true crime, and has also won the Martin Beck Award of the Swedish Academy of Detection twice.
