Thomas Campion and Samuel Daniel

Thomas Campion (1567–1620) was an English poet, composer, and physician known for his lute songs, court masques, and influential writings on poetry and music. Samuel Daniel (1562–1619) was an English poet and historian noted for his sonnets, narrative poems, masques, and historical works; he is especially remembered for his formal poetic style and his critique of Campion's theories on rhyme.
