Thomas Bulfinch
Thomas Bulfinch (1796–1867) was an American author and banker best known for *Bulfinch's Mythology*, a posthumous compilation of his retellings of classical, medieval, and Arthurian myths. He studied at Harvard and spent much of his career as a bank clerk in Boston while writing accessible mythological works for general readers.
