The Electric Quilt Company was founded by Dr. Dean Neumann, a retired mathematics professor, and Penny McMorris, a quilt curator and television producer, after Neumann taught himself programming and created the first Electric Quilt software. It is best known as a leading quilt design software company and also produces quilting books and related resources.
