The Culinary Institute of America (CIA)
The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is a private, not-for-profit culinary college founded in 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut, to train returning World War II veterans in the culinary arts. It later moved its main campus to Hyde Park, New York, and became one of the best-known culinary schools in the United States.
