Tessa Barclay
Tessa Barclay is the pseudonym of Jean Bowden (born circa 1925), a prolific British author who has written over 100 books, beginning her career after education at the Miss Jean Brodie school. She gained prominence with her Craigallan family series starting in 1980 and her first book as Tessa Barclay, 'Professional Woman,' published in 1991. Bowden published extensively under multiple pseudonyms including Barbara Annandale, Jocelyn Barry, and others, spanning romance and historical fiction.
