Teri Lyne Price

Terri Lyne Carrington is an NEA Jazz Master, Doris Duke Artist, and four-time Grammy award-winning jazz drummer, composer, producer, and educator. Born in Malden, Massachusetts, she began her professional career at age 10 as the youngest person to receive a union card in Boston, performing with jazz legends like Dizzy Gillespie and Clark Terry. She founded the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice to promote gender equity in jazz and serves as Zildjian Chair in Performance at Berklee College of Music.
