Te-Li Lau

Te-Li Lau is an Associate Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, specializing in Pauline studies, comparisons of New Testament texts with Confucian writings, moral psychology, and the role of emotion in moral formation.[1][2] Born and raised in Singapore, he served in the Singapore military for two and a half years, earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and worked as a computer engineer in Silicon Valley for ten years, obtaining several patents.[2][3][5] He later pursued theological studies, earning an M.Div. and Th.M. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Ph.D. from Emory University, and has taught New Testament Greek at various institutions.[1][2]
