Tavis D. Jules is a Professor of Cultural and Educational Policy Studies and International Higher Education at Loyola University Chicago, specializing in comparative and international education with research expertise in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Maghreb and North Africa, and the Middle East.[1][2][3] Born in Guyana in 1980 as an American national, he earned his Ed.D., Ed.M., and M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University, and previously held positions such as Head of Knowledge and Communication for the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative and curriculum specialist for Freedom House.[2]
