Tara Sullivan
Tara Sullivan is an award-winning author of young adult novels addressing contemporary human rights issues, including Golden Boy (2013), The Bitter Side of Sweet (2016), and Treasure of the World (2021).[2][4][6] Born in Calcutta, India, she spent her childhood in Bangladesh, Ecuador, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic with her international aid worker parents, later moving to the United States and earning degrees from the University of Virginia and Indiana University.[2][3][6] She lives in Massachusetts with her family and teaches high school Spanish.[3][6]
