T. Jock Murrary

Thomas John 'Jock' Murray, OC ONS (born May 30, 1938) is a renowned Canadian neurologist, medical historian, and author specializing in multiple sclerosis. He graduated from Dalhousie University Medical School in 1963, founded the Dalhousie Multiple Sclerosis Research Unit, served as Dean of Medicine at Dalhousie from 1985 to 1992, and authored award-winning books such as 'Multiple Sclerosis: The History of a Disease' and 'Noble Goals, Dedicated Doctors: The Story of Dalhousie Medical School.' Inducted into the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame in 2014, he is now Professor Emeritus at Dalhousie University.
