Syed Iqbal Zaheer

Syed Iqbal Zaheer was a mechanical engineer by training who became a renowned Islamic scholar, writer, and editor, authoring the fourteen-volume Tafsir Ishraq al-Ma’ani commentary on the Qur’an and numerous books on Islam. He served as Chief Editor of the Young Muslim Digest for over three decades and led the 'An Educational Encyclopedia of Islam' project. A polymath proficient in English, Urdu, and Arabic, he also held degrees in English.
