Suzanne I. Barchers, born July 30, 1946, in Oakland, California, is an American author and educator with an Ed.D. from Colorado State University. After 15 years as a teacher and reading specialist, she transitioned to publishing, authoring over 300 books and songs for publishers like LeapFrog, Heinemann, and ABC-Clio, including college textbooks, readers theatre resources, and children's educational materials.[1][2][3]
