Suzanne Collins is an American author and television writer best known for the young adult dystopian series The Hunger Games and the children's fantasy series The Underland Chronicles. Born the youngest of four children, she began her career in 1991 writing for Nickelodeon shows like Clarissa Explains it All and Little Bear before transitioning to novels, with her books selling over 100 million copies worldwide.[1][2][3]
