Susanna S. Epp

Susanna Samuels Epp, born in 1943, is an American mathematician, author, and professor emerita at DePaul University, where she chaired the Department of Mathematical Sciences and served as Vincent de Paul Professor in Mathematics.[1][3] She earned her degrees from Northwestern University and her Ph.D. in 1968 from the University of Chicago under Irving Kaplansky, with research interests in discrete mathematics, mathematical logic, cognitive psychology, and mathematics education.[1][2][3] Epp has authored numerous articles, papers, and textbooks, including the acclaimed Discrete Mathematics with Applications.[1][3]
