Susan Sutherland Isaacs

Susan Sutherland Isaacs (1885-1948) was a British psychoanalyst, psychologist, and educationalist who integrated psychoanalytic theory with child development and education. She led the experimental Malting House School in Cambridge (1924-1927), served as the first head of the Child Development Department at the Institute of Education, University of London (1933), and wrote influential advice columns under the pseudonym 'Ursula Wise' for parents.
