Susan Hankinson
Susan Hankinson, RN, ScD, is a Distinguished Professor Emerita of Epidemiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she previously served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Biostatistics & Epidemiology, and Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She was Principal Investigator of the Nurses' Health Study from 2006 to 2010 and remains a Senior Investigator. Her research focuses on the roles of lifestyle factors, endogenous hormones, and biomarkers in breast cancer risk and prediction.
