Susan Andersen, born in 1950 in Seattle, Washington, is an American romance novelist who began her career after working as a dental assistant and published her first novel, Shadow Dance, in 1989. Her books are celebrated for their humor, sexy sizzle, strong characterization, and elements of suspense, earning her multiple Romantic Times awards including a win for Baby, I'm Yours in 1998 and bestseller status on the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly lists.
