Sugata Marjit

Sugata Marjit is an Indian economist who has served as Vice Chancellor of the University of Calcutta and later as First Distinguished Professor at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester and has also been associated with research and editorial roles in public finance and macroeconomics.
