Sue Henry
Sue Henry (born Mathilda Sue Hall) was an award-winning American mystery author best known for her Alaska-based novels featuring state trooper Alex Jensen and sled dog racer Jessie Arnold. Her debut, Murder on the Iditarod Trail (1991), won the Anthony and Macavity Awards for Best First Novel and was adapted for television. A former college administrator and instructor at the University of Alaska in Anchorage, where she lived for nearly 30 years, she authored 17 novels before her death in 2020.
