Stuart Palmer

Stuart Palmer was an American mystery author best known for creating the schoolteacher-detective Hildegarde Withers. He wrote numerous detective novels and short stories from the 1930s through the 1960s, and also worked as a screenwriter in Hollywood. His work is remembered for its wit and ingenious plotting.
