Stewart M Green

Stewart M. Green was a prolific writer, photographer, and climbing pioneer born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, who began his freelance career in 1977, traveling extensively to capture images and stories from the American West and beyond. He authored and photographed over 26 books for Globe Pequot Press/Falcon Guides since the mid-1980s, with his work appearing in numerous publications, and also worked as a climbing guide. Green passed away in 2024 at the age of 71.
