Steven Strogatz

Steven Henry Strogatz is an American mathematician and author, serving as the Susan and Barton Winokur Distinguished Professor for the Public Understanding of Science and Mathematics at Cornell University. He is renowned for his research on nonlinear systems, particularly synchronization in dynamical systems, and for his popular mathematics books including Sync, The Joy of x, and Infinite Powers.
