Steven Erikson
Steven Erikson is the pseudonym of Steve Rune Lundin, a Canadian novelist trained as an archaeologist and anthropologist, and a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop.[1][3] He is best known for his ten-volume epic fantasy series Malazan Book of the Fallen, which began with Gardens of the Moon in 1999 and concluded with The Crippled God in 2011, achieving widespread international acclaim.[2][3] Born in Toronto and raised in Winnipeg, he has lived in various places including the UK and Victoria, British Columbia.[3][5][6]
