Steven A. Frankel

Steven A. Frankel, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist in general and child/adolescent psychiatry, specializing in evaluation, treatment, and consultation for complex psychiatric cases involving medical, psychiatric, and psychosocial disorders. He has practiced and taught in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 35 years, heads the Center for Collaborative Medicine, Psychiatry, and Psychology in Kentfield, California, and is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is the author of seven books on the doctor/therapist-patient relationship and related topics, with expertise in in-depth psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
