Steve Heller

Steven Heller is a prominent American art director, journalist, critic, author, and educator known for authoring or co-authoring over 200 books on graphic design, illustration, satiric art, and popular culture.[1][2] He served as art director at The New York Times for 33 years, including nearly 30 years with the Book Review, and is co-founder and co-chair of the MFA Design: Designer as Entrepreneur program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.[3][5] Heller is a partner and editor-at-large for Printmag.com, where he writes The Daily Heller, and has received awards including the AIGA Medal and Smithsonian National Design Award for 'Design Mind'.[2][5]
