Steve Hamilton
Steve Hamilton is an acclaimed American mystery writer, born and raised in Detroit, best known for his Alex McKnight series starting with the award-winning A Cold Day in Paradise. He graduated from the University of Michigan, where he won the Hopwood Award for fiction, and has received multiple Edgar Awards, including for Best First Novel and Best Novel for The Lock Artist. Hamilton lives in upstate New York and has also authored standalones like Night Work.
