Steve Duck

Steve Duck is a British social psychologist and communication scholar, serving as the Daniel & Amy Starch Distinguished Research Professor and Chair of the Department of Rhetoric at the University of Iowa until 2021. He is renowned for his foundational work on social and personal relationships, communication processes in relationship development and disintegration, and everyday interactions. Duck founded and edited the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships for 15 years and has authored or edited over 55 books on the subject.
