Steve Allen
Steve Allen (1921-2000) was an American television pioneer, comedian, musician, composer, and author who created and first hosted The Tonight Show, establishing the template for modern late-night talk shows. Beyond television, he was a prolific songwriter with over 7,900 compositions, authored 54 published books, and created the Emmy-winning PBS series Meeting of Minds, earning recognition as one of entertainment's most versatile talents.
