Stephen Turnbull
Stephen Turnbull is a renowned British historian and author specializing in Japanese military history, particularly the samurai period, and has published over 85 books on the subject. He holds a PhD from the University of Leeds and two MAs in Theology and Military History, and currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Japanese Studies at Akita International University in Japan. Turnbull is also a historical advisor for media projects, including the video game Shogun II - Total War and the film 47 Ronin.
