Stephen Solomita

Stephen Solomita (born 1943) is an American author renowned for his crime, mystery, and thriller novels, particularly the hard-boiled Stanley Moodrow series that began with A Twist of the Knife in 1988. Before becoming a novelist, he worked as a cab driver in New York City and has also published under the pseudonym David Cray. He continues to write actively, with his most recent novel, The Wrong Side of the Grass, released in 2023.
