Stephen Hand is a multifaceted author known for works in fantasy gamebooks like Fighting Fantasy titles (Dead of Night, Legend of the Shadow Warriors, Moonrunner), horror novelizations such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and scholarly books on historical European martial arts including English Swordsmanship: The True Fight of George Silver. He is a pioneer in HEMA, founder of the Stoccata School of Defence, and editor of the first HEMA journal SPADA, with additional writings on Traditional Catholic topics and social justice.
