Stephen Coonts
Stephen Coonts, born July 19, 1946, in Morgantown, West Virginia, is an American author of spy thrillers and suspense novels, best known for his debut 'Flight of the Intruder' (1986), inspired by his Vietnam War experiences as a naval aviator. A West Virginia University graduate (1968) and former attorney, he has published over 26 novels, with 16 New York Times bestsellers, translated into 26 languages. He resides in Colorado with his wife.
