Stephen Adiss

Stephen Addiss (1935–2022) was an American author, scholar, artist, and musician known for his work on Japanese art, haiku, and Zen Buddhism. He taught art history at the University of Richmond and the University of Kansas, and published books, articles, paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, and poems.
