Stephanie Watson
Stephanie Watson is a children's book author based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, known for picture books such as *Behold! A Baby* (2016 Minnesota Book Award finalist), *The Wee Hours*, and *Best Friends in the Universe* (2019 Minnesota Book Award finalist), as well as middle-grade novels including *Pencilvania*, *Elvis and Olive*, and *Elvis and Olive: Super Detectives*.[1][4][5] She debuted in children's literature with *Elvis & Olive* in 2008, which was a Junior Library Guild selection and Washington Post Book of the Week, while also working in web content writing since 2002.[6] Note that there is another Stephanie Watson who is a freelance health writer, but this biography refers to the children's author.[3][4]
