Stephanie Grace Whitson
Stephanie Grace Whitson, born in 1952 in East St. Louis, IL, is a best-selling, award-winning author of over 20 inspirational historical fiction novels inspired by pioneer women's history, antique quilts, and life west of the Mississippi.[1][2][3] She earned a B.A. in French from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville in 1973 and a Master of Arts in history in 2012, began writing in the 1990s while homeschooling her four children, and owns Prairie Pieceworks, Inc.[1][2][4] A Nebraska resident, she enjoys quilting, church activities, and previously rode her motorcycle named Kitty.[1][5]
